Default Recomend me some tyres

not an sv question, but i'm hoping you guys can give me some advice anyway.

I have a new to me bike (cbr600rr) and it needs some new tyres desperately. could anyone give me some advice please? I always had avon vipers and then avon storm on the sv, when I started to commute more and more. which is what I use the bike for mainly now, so my thinking is to go for some storms once again. as I really did get on with them on the sv, would anyone have any reservations about doing the same thing with my Honda?

Do you want sports tourers? Best of both worlds?! I can recommend Metzeller Z8s and Pirelli Angel GTs I've done big tours and track days on them

Then as above! A mate runs Michelin Pilot Road 4s and loves them too! Personally I love the Metzeller Z8 and its replacement the Metzeller Roadtec 01 is meant to be even better, it will definitely be my next tyre

thank you, but I want to exhaust opinion first off on the avons, if possible as they're a tyre that I know I get on with. thank you for your input though, I may well be back asking about those later on.

Have a gander at this! They have a great write up and if you like the brands previous tyres you will feel comfortable on them from the off. Oh and they are English too...

PR3's. had these and the PR4's and while the PR4's are nice they dont have the grip of the PR3's especially in the wet which the PR3's are like glue. also had the storm 1-2 and the PR2's.

its also new tyre time for me and without a doubt its going to be PR3's as they are just great all round tyres.

Pirelli Diablo Stradas. Sports/touring tyre with a rapid warm up, fantastic grip in wet and dry, very rapid turning response. On my 5th pair of them now. Generally available for £115 - £150 a pair.

Hey Bibs, would it be OK if I put a PR3 on the rear of my bike with the newish PR4 I have on the front or would I be best to match up?
