Default How loud will it be???

Hello All

Finally got the money to afford a new zorst. Once the bike comes back from garage (following major off repairs) I am fitting a Scorpion Street Extreme stainless.

One question, just how loud will it be with the baffle in? I only ask as some posts on here state it is stupidly loud and you can expect complaints....... I am not the kind of person who really cares much about the neighgbours, but, I don't want to annoy anyone too much.

What do peeps think, will it be too loud, or is it fine so long as you are easy on the throttle?

Drew

like just about all aftermarket can's, it'll be loud compared to the standard one, but as long as you don't take the pi** rev wise you should be fine.

Cheers Mark.

Sound bite here.

Just be sensible, start the bike up and then potter off. Don't hang around warming it up at fast idle. That may well annoy folk.

Cheers Pete. Think I will start and get on and leave, won't leave it idleing for too long.

Mrs Drew just said, "If thats what your having....I think I want some of your ear plugs please", following watching that nice little video clip.

Well, to be fair, both of those cans don't have baffles, but I sit above the Stubby all day long and just love the sound. Especially when we're cranked over on a right-hander and the noise is bouncing back up off the road at me

No earplugs for me

Drew
it will be loud without the baffle, very loud

however, i have left at 4/5am occasionally and not received complaints, i warned the immediate neighbours and apologised in advanced so they knew to keep the windows on that side of the house shut that night, slipped the baffle in, and it's perfectly sociable like that

ironically it's louder at idle with the baffle, making more of a chu chu chu sound instead of bu bu bu, but once you open the throttle without the baffle it "unleashes the beast" so to speak

so in short, with the baffle in you're not going to be making enemies, without it just don't take the mick and rev the nuts off it before you leave for work at 6am and you'll be fine...

btw, good choice of exhaust
