Info that's useful (ie not chitter chatter!)
Thought I'd start a new thread as otherwise this would just get lost in the chat thread.
Blacks are offering 15% off your first camping purchase from them - enter "BlacksCamping15" at the checkout. Not sure how long it's valid for (I got it on an e-mail). Delivery is also free on purchases over £20. www.blacks.co.uk NB: It is only valid on items from the camping section. Last edited by Cazza; 14-04-12 at 06:03 PM. |

Every one of the stops en route sells ice cream. I have checked. And the last stop does honeycomb and nut rings!

If you don't fancy camping then this place gets great reviews on Tripadvisor.
Only 1.3 miles away from the campsite. Single room from £45 with breakfast extra if you don't want to grab a butty at the pub before we set off. http://www.crouchvalley.com/BOC/serv...h_valley_hotel

Try this link http://www.whatgas.com/ for petrol station locations, i find it useful if im going somewhere new. Just pop in the area you want and it shows all the local filling places. HTH

The nearest one is in Southminster, about 3 miles away at the most

Not that you're wrong Sally , but the Texaco in Latchingdon is just under a mile from site....

Re: Info that's useful (ie not chitter chatter!)
There is a Tesco at Danbury which is on the way. Petrol prices here are usually a bit cheaper than those closer to the camp site and as it's a Tesco Express you can stock up on anything you for nibbles.
http://www.tesco.com/storeLocator/?bid=2391 And as Mark said, geographically closest is Texaco at Latchingdon 14 The Street Latchingdon Chelmsford CM3 6JP Tel: 01621 741848

You're right Mark and Clare. I meant Latchindon, but did think it was further away than that!
