Pimp my ride....

As you know I am not a big one for modding my bike but I have recently realised that I will be hanging on to my CBR for a while (even if it does end up as a back-up bike) so I am getting the itch to tart it up a little.

So here goes, these are a few things that I am thinking of doing over the next few months.

1 - Puig black double bubble screen - bought
2 - Daytona heated grips - bought

Now for some things that I am thinking of doing:

1 - Proton flushmount front indicators
2 - XenonExpert Hid system
3 - Tripage integrated taillight
4 - Knightrider 3rd eye (purely for the cheese factor, laughs - or maybe not)
5 - Yoshi or akrapovic exhaust (probably will be last on the list as it expensive.
6 - Carbon fibre clutch/engine cover + carbon fibre generator cover (to hide the scratched engine cover
7 - R&G fork sliders
8 - Red reflective rim tape

I might buy a Tenere just so I can have a tow hook. Cool.

The tail unit light system ainb't legal in the country far as I am aware and it won't pass an mot when it needs to, same as the night rider led not legal either casue its displaying the wrong color light on the bike.

I would buy the race system second hand. I would say the best mod would be the HID lighting unit and the race can. Maybe folk silders, the rest I wouldn't bother with.

I believe that the HID kit isn't legal and won't pass MOT too.

Really? Scampers off to google....

Your right - HID aftermarket parts are illegal unless you upgrade the whole unit to a EU approved headlamp replacement.

You guys are giving me soo many good reasons not to spend money. This is great! Have got the buying bug and I need to have it whipped outta me.

How about the indicators. I hate those massive ones that hang off the side of the bikea and the flushmounts look much better.
