Unhappy engineers report

hey

as some of you know i got smashed off my sv about 4 months ago and i am now alowed to start repairing her. but she has to have a engineers report before she is alowed back on the road. but my problem is i dont know much about engineers report dose my bike have to go back to her natural ways or is she alowed to be moded.

modds :

renthal handle bars
brake lines
undertray
bellpan
she is risen
indercators
number plate

will i have more luck with the engineers report is she is back to standed ??

also my dad thinks it will be better for the engineers report if she is back to standed but i just want to see wat the .orgers have to say. if it is wise to go back to standed have any .orgers got

standed undertray and the standed mudgard flap thing ?
also my forks are bent and i cant find any anywere

my baby is a K2 sv650 2002 curvy naked

cheers nicky s

right ok. Bambi squashed me forks(deer vs SV650....Dizzy won, bambi dead, SV got a hairline bend in stancion). I have a 2000 S.
YC did a front end swap (gixxer) and i bought his nakid forks(his bikes younger)
The only difference between them was, on the bottom of my S forks below the axle jobbie I had 2 bolts, the ones I replaced them with had one......thats it. Same length, same everything.

iv just found in my sv650 haynes manual this ...

sv650-k2 and sv650s-k2
apart from the front forks being fitted with pre-load adjusters, the model was otherwise unchanged from the previous year.

dose it matter that they have pre-load adjusters and also what do they do ??
