How social are you?

For the past few years i've had it said to me on numerous occasions that i've become more and more of a loner-the mrs would probably be the person who agrees with this most, telling me that i've developed into the most anti-social person that she knows-is this just an age thing?the older i get the more time i'm happy being with my immediate family or on my tod rather than socialising with others. I'd be quite happy to spend my time in the woods away from everyone but find this a bit worrying. I wonder if i'm going nuts and i'm gonna and up an old hillbilly crazy mountainman.

same boat here...im 27.....more than happy spending most of my time with the family.
untill a few years ago id be at every party / social event / night out etc and feel like i was missing out on something if i didnt go, these days my nights out with the lads are minimal (maybe once a month), as I feel like im missing out if i dont say goodnight /read a story to my lil lad.

I do however have my hobbies which act as my social life, football once or twice a week, org rideouts!, music studio and once a year a weekend away with the football team

i recently have had enforced hermitism thrust upon me. I moved 450 miles away from all my family to be with new partner. My kids came with me, his daughter stays every second weekend and we have a new baby together plus a dog. I dont know anyone in the area but it doesnt bother me. Too busy at the moment to go to groups to meet other mums, plus not too keen as Im old enough to be their mums probably lol

Don't worry I think its an age thing. Im Indoors is an antisocial bugger, and I'm just an agoraphobic type, we go well together

I dont mind being in the company of other people, but no-one really listens t what I say and tends to talk over me or inturupt me mid-sentence. So i prefer to be with a smaller group (2 or three people) or with maria or my dad or just on my own. People scare me...even at soho, I'll not stay too long and everyone there is quite polite and lets me finish what im saying lol

Being on my own, on my bike, riding someplace to take photos, is one of my favorite things.

im not really, but becasue Ive moved around so much it dont really have a close group of friends! its cool, because my company is the best anyway, i never argue with myself!!

After living by myself for the last few years I find I'm happy with my own company, it took a little getting used to at first, now I'm fine with it!

i'm not one for massive socialising, i can handle a party or day out meeting new folks, but it tends to get tiring and i just get bored unless there's some form of in depth or contraversial discussion going on, i'm usually one of the first to leave. i'd prefer to stay at home either by myself or with family or one or two good friends and watch a DVD with a takeaway than go out to the pub or, god forbid, club...

im the same, probably why im playing less ice hockey and doing more bike related things and fishing.
