Does anyone know the exact name for the rubber bit on the swing arm that the chain rests on? Basicly mine is split and hanging off so im after replacing, does anyone have one up for grabs or know where i can get one from??
Thanks! |

Re: Swing arm chain rubber thingy
It's called a "BUFFER, CHAIN TOUCH DEFENSE" and the part number is 61273-17G00 for a pointy (2003 on). Job is a bit of a pain as you have to remove the swingarm to change it. It's worth checking your swingarm/shock linkage bearings whilst you're down there as they are quite exposed to spray from the rear wheel and repacking them.
You can get one from Fowlers parts here.
