The official part number is the same for my 1999 Curvy as the 2003 etc,

5912118410

You can check the correct year and model on here,

Note that the nipple is slightly longer than the OEM part but the important part from the pointed end to the bleed hole is the same.
Perfect that's what I wanted someone that's used them successfully. It was actually powerhouse that I got my calipers from last year.

You can do a Wemoto by your model(I bookmark my bikes/models).Suggest you have a look around and buy a couple of things to use the postage cost.

I've used Wemoto(World's End Motorcycles<grin>) for years.Great company/service.

Tip:Even with Stainless I smear a little dielectric grease or ACF50 over them but not in the hole.

As an FYI.Most Japanese Motorcycles use standard M10 1.00/1.25 pitch bleed nipples.Lengths can vary so you just have to get the right length ones if buying off say eBay.

There are also,"Easy Bleed" nipples if you fancy,

  • Perfect Solution To A Tedious Job
  • Replaces Existing Bleed Nipples
  • Various Thread Sizes Available
  • One-Way Valve Stops Air Re-Entering System
  • Quick And Easy To Use
  • Fit And Forget

The Goodridge 'Speed Bleeder' is the perfect solution for eliminating the tedious, time consuming and repetitive job of bleeding brake systems, by simply replacing the existing bleed nipples.
Their unique design incorporates a one way valve preventing air entering back into the system and eliminates the repetitive process of tightening and un-tightening...simply un-tighten the 'Speed Bleeder' 1/4 of a turn and pump the brake lever/pedal until the system is free of air and tighten!
Marvelous R1ffR4ff! I'll have some of those for the next time. Wish I'd known about them before I bought the vacuum kit....

What thread is a curvy?

I'm almost certain they are M10 1.00 pitch but if you contact the seller(Demon Tweaks) with your details I'm sure they will respond.
The partsfiche doesn't give the dimensions.Once we know it can become common knowledge.

I've done a random check of different years and they all seem to have the same part number as previously posted so it looks like the front bleed nipples are constant across all models.

The rear ones are different.Even just counting the rings they are shorter and a different part number( 5912101A00 )

My old Honda CX500s are M10 1.25.

They have a different part number but sometimes even that is not a great guide(I prefer dimensions). If they are working, don't fix it

Only real way to check would be to put a rear and front side-by-side and use a micrometer but I can't be arsed to do that<grin>
