Default Misfiring in the Rain.

'Evening all,

I have the dreaded misfire-in-the-rain problem. Its like riding a bucking bronco, but without the fun bit.

I've checked the drain hole, and it seems clear. Sprayed a bit of WD40 in for good measure...

Should I also be removing, silicone greasing, and replacing the spark plug too? Do I need a Fender Extender?!

Cheers

James.

I'd at least try drying the hole and throwing some grease in there.

Drying the drain hole? With pipe cleaners I guess?

I would replace your front plug, i had the same problem a while back. Changed it over, sprayed a bit of wd-40 on it for some water resistance and she ran perfect.

Yes, don't worry about replacing the spark plug, just some silicon grease where the rubber gromment seals the plug lead at the cam cover
