Misfiring in the Rain.
'Evening all,
I have the dreaded misfire-in-the-rain problem. Its like riding a bucking bronco, but without the fun bit. I've checked the drain hole, and it seems clear. Sprayed a bit of WD40 in for good measure... Should I also be removing, silicone greasing, and replacing the spark plug too? Do I need a Fender Extender?! Cheers James. |

Re: Misfiring in the Rain.
I'd at least try drying the hole and throwing some grease in there.

Drying the drain hole? With pipe cleaners I guess?

Re: Misfiring in the Rain.
I would replace your front plug, i had the same problem a while back. Changed it over, sprayed a bit of wd-40 on it for some water resistance and she ran perfect.

Re: Misfiring in the Rain.
Yes, don't worry about replacing the spark plug, just some silicon grease where the rubber gromment seals the plug lead at the cam cover
