PLY Smart helmet
Not sure what to think about this:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...hnology-helmet I suppose it's a logical step to build everything in since people are adding the gadgets individually anyway. I wonder what it would be like if every road user could speak to every other road user - "Could you please speed up?", "You've left your turn signal on", "WTF are you doing now?". "No, I can't speed up, there's a tractor in front of me." "Oops, sorry about that..." Maybe, not. |

Re: PLY Smart helmet
+1 but it won't be long before vehicles do this without telling you.

Re: PLY Smart helmet
+1. The only sound I want to hear is that lovely V twin music... Spot on, there are enough mobile phone / computer / social media / technology addicts already ( this has now been officially recognised as a mental illness - about 20 years too late ). May be interested in dashcam bit, but would hate for my helmet to be out of date after a year because newer camera tech is available and integral fitted one can't be updated..

Re: PLY Smart helmet
The grammar & single comment sum this helmet up as a "NO F*CKIN WAY" for me.
"Joe Nicholson on October 25, 2018 Mine arrived but it has absolutely no documentation about how to use it???????" Sounds like some chinese produced crap. Wait till Shoei/Arai/Schuberth come out with one and it'll be worth even looking at. Not to mention does it even meet safety standards? |

Re: PLY Smart helmet
In the event of a crash do not remove a motorcyclists helmet.
Unless the cheap chinese lithium battery contained in it is on fire.
