Standard Dunlops
Any ideas how long these will last me before I have to shell out on new ones?

Yeah, it looks like mine will as well. I've done nearly 5K and there seems to be plenty of tread left. I'm off on a 2 week travel around France so, they'd better last

I am ashamed to say that I have done 7000 miles on mine and they are
still almost as new. Should learn to ride more aggressively. |

Naaaah...you're all no-where near my effort
16.5k on the front - verified by 2 independants that it still had life in it. 11k on the back Just replaced the front on Friday gone fro another Dunlop - cheap as chips, and if I can get another 16k out of one for £79 then rock on Mass |

having ridden e.d.'s bike on standard dunlops at the weekend, TBH I would say that they arent that bad a tyre, the grip felt OK and I felt that the feedback was good to. Note I wasnt pushing tyres right to the limit as I was on a bike I wasnt used to, What they would be like on the limit I cant comment on yet I was comparing them with the Bridgestones on my curvy.
If I was you I would ride them till they were worn out and then have a read of the tyre section and then replace them when the need replacing. See if you can borrow somebody elses bike with the tyres on it that you want to fit to yours then you have something to comare it with.

the stock 220s should last 10k+ if you maintain your pressures, the only complaints I have with Dunlops is braking traction, I run Azaro STs

I think I'll be keeping them on them. No point in wasting a tyre that's served me okay. Thanks for the info guys.
