Default Speed with Guy Martin CH4 now!

Have to say his effort in the hover craft was damn good!

Especially with only 2 months prep

It was a very brave attempt but they do seem to be taking some bigger and bigger risks!

Those flying blades could've blinded him or worse, and the wipe out was very lucky to not end worse than it did.

But I guess you'd say its still safer than 200mph round the TT!

If you've got it recorded, check out the drawings the guy with the eyebrows does on the wood at the start. See if you can spot the dangling appendage in the first drawing and driving the second.

I'm glad someone else spotted that.

My wife and I both enjoyed watching it together, which in itself is a rare event.....

We were impressed by just how many different topics could be crammed into one program .... we had some hovercraft, some British Forces, history, sky diving, and some basic physics demonstrated!

I just couldn't believe it when after they flipped it he decided to repair what was clearly significant structural damage with a bit of ally, some pop rivets and of course some gaffa tape! At least Guy had the sense to quit when he was still alive!

I did too and so did the cameraman as he seemed to pause on that bit.

The hovercraft episode was the first one of all the "Speeds" where I actually was thinking, this is crazy! Hardly any prep, no time to practice on his own machine then nearly wiped out twice! I was so relieved when he decided to call it a do on that last attempt, those bodged fixes were in no way convincing! Still a hell of an achievement to manage 82mph top speed, fastest Brit, hurrah. I can't get enough of that Guy, never fails to make folk smile

I didn't have much faith in their expert in that episode. Didn't seem to be up to the usual standard. Still very entertaining as always

It's got me googling indoor sky diving centres! That looked awesome fun seeing all the moves the instructor did. Unfortunately there are none in Scotland

I've done indoor sky diving. There is an airkix here in mk. It's good fun but at £20 a minute not something ill be doing that often.
