SV Decals - However you like em
Hi All,
I'm trying to get the general sense on how you folks would go with having decals to go on your SV? If I was to say that I could do decals to cover the nose cone and back end or practically any plastic bits of the bike in whatever colour and even design, woukd you folks go for this? I'm gonna start with designs for the nose cone first, and they would cover the whole nose cone or parts of it. You could have any design and colour. Would this be a thing that you folks would like to have or would it be a no -goer? Any advice or anyone welcome to give me designs and so on , please feel free. Cheers - mass |

Hmmm not sure, can you give us some type of pic to see how you see it going? eg design one and then we could comment?
Not seen them before I find it hard to picture. |

OK I'll start on the design of the front nose cone, but if you can imagine the whole of the nose cone covered with a decal of your own choice or even colour, rather than you standard Yellow, Red, Black, Blue. You could have it in purple, green, etc... or even go as far as having ...I don't know say a pic of pingu on the nose cone? would you go for it? Cheers for the input though, keep em comin' Nice 1 Mass |

I'd certainly be interested, a nice matt blue or maybe something a bit wilder
obviously depends on costs, finish and overall quality that'd make up my mind. Good luck with the planning! atko |

If your thinking of ink jet, i suggest that you look into the lightfastness.
You really need to be using Blue Wool scale 6 or above I did some prelim research into somthing similar a couple of years ago, I would be happy to share what I have. If its not inkjet then ignore the above. Good Luck |

The decals themselves will be done through a high quality vinyl decal cutter, and I'm currently working on the templates. If anyone knows anyone with the templates already done, please let me know Cheers Mass |

Question,
will you be doing decals for both the curvy AND pointy or just the one? Mine's a curvy (and BLUE ) and IMO it'd be the dogs fleshy bits! Cheers Atko |

I quite like this style. On 2nd thoughts, I might put some on my SV if I can find them for sale anywhere

Hello,
Atko: yep I'll be doing the curvy and pointy. Robbo_ : Yep that's not a problem either. If you can both give me a little time to sort out the templates, which I'm working on, then I should have it sorted soon. Cheersb |
