year end mileage...
so we're nearly there at the end of the year, I've had the best year on the bikes since the knee thing in 2006, considering I've not done a single commuting mile and everything has been for fun I find my total to be 244 miles short of 42,000 this year*, I've spent approx £5,300 on petrol, had 7 tyres fitted, done 11 services, been to both ends of the country and most places in between, an out of session trip to the IOM (most highly recommended, by the way) and had a fantastic time into the bargain.
so come on, what are your numbers then? *still a day or 2 to go, so might get a few more in yet.

Re: year end mileage...
I should knock in around 10,000 as usual, so nothing too impressive, even if my insurance company does insist that that's a fair bit above average
Commuted through London, been to Amsterdam, and visited mates round a fair bit of the country, spent some time on track, 2-up and solo. My mileage seems a little short so I'm going to see about renting a bike out in India when work sends me back out there Jambo

Re: year end mileage...
Think I will probably clock around 12000 as normal, but haven't bothered logging start & finish mileage, so couldn't say for sure

Re: year end mileage...
Will have to dig the bike out to verify the yearly total, but I can guarantee I did way more miles outside the UK than inside...
