Re: Route to Clacton-suggestions please
if it was me, I would avoid going to Clacton, but if you must this is what I'd do. Blat the 1st half then go through the lanes.

Re: Route to Clacton-suggestions please
hello KJ can i be the last to say happy new year ... lol .. not sure how to get maps up on this thing, but when i go to the midlands every month or so , i always come down what used to be the a604 .. its half a dozen road names now , but the route is straight forward ..basically turn off the m11 at duxford A 505 to the A1307 .. turn right to linton , and then scream round the haverhill by pass, flat out ( allegedly :P )
Then take the A1017 to sible hedingham, then just as you come out of sible , hang a left to halstead down the A1124 with a HUGE SWEEPING BEND on it ..into halstead go left and right on the mini roundabouts and head to colchester .. after that ,there s not really a fun road to clacton , but you ll probably be funed out by then |
