I'm very interested in this, what else is required for the conversion? Also what colour is the wheel?

Hey,

I believe on a pointy the conversion is a bolt on,
I haven't done the K series - pointy SV conversion. Only the SRAD - Curvy. I'm sure one or two members or the org have done it to their pointys. :bandit:

Well I have three wheels and two GSXRs. I wanted to keep a spare set of wheel for my race bike (GSXR6K1). But we can talk about that later - Two of the wheels are black and the other white.

I actually have another wheel too, although it is cracked at a spoke and might be a little kinked. If you know anyone up North who can sort wheels it could be good for you? A tenner buys it (only if you grabs the forks too though...)

AFAIK, the K series wheels match the K3+ wheels, like the SRAD wheels matching the pre K3 SV's.

As for the Speeso - Think you'll need to run a sensor on the rear wheel or front sprocket cover,

Try a search on here for past threads, I'm sure I've read about someone doing the conversion...

Hi Phil,

TBH, I'm still not sure if I selling to fronts...

- Black, true - to be powder coated white
- Black, with a slight flat spot
- White, true but paint not the best
- White, flight spot, crack and grubby paint

Is your front wheel damaged? or were you looking for a spare?

I would be interested in a true straight wheel to paint white for a colour change. This will give me a complete set of spare wheels and panels for when the inevitable happens!

It will be for road use. Finish isn't important but straight and no gouges is!
