clutch sticking in gear until I turn off engine??? eh? - SV650.org

Hey folks,
Old reliable is going strong but I'm rolling to a halt and trying to click it from 2nd into neutral at, say, traffic lights, and it wont click down. If I then turn off the engine I can click it into N with no probs.. After about an hour this seems to go away..
, maybe worn springs or selector fork or something.

Anyone had a similar? any Ideas? ..

I feel a pre-emptive visit to the garage coming on..Just when it looked like I could get an Xbox360.... ah well..

All advice gratefully recieved!

I get the same symptom as well - got in on my old bike (honda rebel), also!!

Figured that it was just a generic bike thing as oppsed to User-Error.

Found that if I paddle forward a foot or so then that usually cures it.

Clutch sounds like its biting a little even when you pull the lever in. Adjust and it should be fine hopefully.
