Default Let's organise more local events for this year !

Give us something to look forward to with meet ups for the Border Patrol and maybe even some social events this year . Our section is a bit on the dull side with hardly any events or anything so let`s get this place a bit more exciting .

There are lots of local events where we can meet up , I am kicking myself for not getting to Llangollen last year to visit the Hairy Bikers doing a spot of cookery there , I know it isn`t top of the list of things to do last year but my god , it beats sitting in the house doesn`t it .

Even if it`s some strange market where they sell obscure Jewish Cheeses (Cheeses of Nazareth) , some event where they roll Monks down a hill or throw Nuns over a wall ... anything cos I`m bored Shatless sitting in this damn house staring at a screen , you`ve all been told

I'm in the middle of planning days out for the kids, for when the weather gets better.

Things like high ropes, rock climbing/abseiling, canoeing, coasteering etc etc.

Do they count as BP events?

OK so weekly meets, NW rideouts, BBQ at mine, the XMAS meal and the WW rafting didn't count as 'events'? Just cos you didn't attend don't mean it don't happen.

I look forward to your contributions to the social calendar......

Hows about a Border Patrol meet up at Northwich Thundersprint in May. Pretty central Border Patrol location and hopefully decent enough weather.

Oh sorry that was last year , forgive me trying to put a bit of spark into this year , if thats the attitude then shove it where the sun doesn`t shine . I wasn`t criticising last year , last year was good . I was merely trying to get a head start on stuff this year and maybe pack the calender out a bit more , obviously you have taken offence at this and I shall butt out and not make anymore contributions to this area again .

If last year was good, why this?

And dude, yes I did take offence at the implication that nothing goes on here. Perhaps you are the one who needs to look at his attitude.
