I've just provisionally booked myself onto Cambs Bikesafe

Its three consecutive tuesday nights theory sessions in Sawston followed by the accompanied rideout (yikes!) the next saturday, at a cost of £35 including a copy of the handbook.

There are four sessions this year and im booked on the earliest which is Tuesday 20/4, 27/4, 4/5 and saturday 8/5. Anyone care to join me? They've still got free spaces

Me and dad did that a year or two a go. One of the coppers is fantastic, I can't remember his name though.. He did two of the three theory sessions, and did my rideout. The other copper wasn't as good, luckily he only did one of the theory sessions. The rideout is pretty good, and like you'd expect, their riding is mesmerising.

You do know there's a good cafe on Rutland Waters at Normanton?

Me too, and tomorow I'm off to my drowning course in Southampton.

Bike is almost back together, just waiting on a Stebel horn to arrive, but I want to give the bike a shakedown run on Saturday too

I would quite like a loud horn for my bike, but the stebels are fooking huge and look just the slightest bit out of place on my svelte little naked

I've ordered a Compact Nautillus, and I'm going to seperate the compressor from the horn, which will make things nice and neat. I'll hide the horn in the fairing I think.

The standard Nautilus is huge, I know I bought one by mistake
