I bet your mum slapped you when you asked her didnt she?

You should really encourage Mrs Skip to breast feed if she can, it is a truly amazing thing to be able to feed your baby yourself.
I fed my first for 10 months, 2nd for 14 months and no.3 for 15 months and i am really proud of that.
They were all really healthy babies, no colic, no sickness, and all slept through the night within 5-8 weeks, and im sure a lot of that was down to breastfeeding. I was really lucky though, if the baby struggles to feed or messes about, or there is a lack of milk for some reason it can become very sore and stressful, luckily all mine were greedy piglets who latched on straightaway and that was job done. In fact im sure no.2 would still do it now if i let him, but i save that job for Jeff
