I hate Pirelli Tyres, they make you look like a right chicken. LOL 1st time I've been down the Cat & Fiddle road in ages, it was quiet early doors, so much merriment could be had. Still can't get rid of the chicken strips, so looks like a track day is in order.

tbh I've always found metzlers better than pirelli, which is odd as they make them in the same factories

the only tyre i have been able to take right over and off the edge was the Avon Storm but this is due to the storm having a weird profile. i personally dont care about chicken strips as i ride within my capability which some would say is good enough.

The profile on my pr4's are odd. Very curved and deep. When the bike is on the centre stand the rear wheel is only just clear of the ground. I have to take the rear wheel off when I remove the front wheel otherwise i can't lift the front high enough for the wheel to clear the mudguard.

yup the PR4's are tall, i have noticed that they have a very pronounced fast drop in about 20-30mm off the edge which can be a bit unnerving at times. i have had them squirm/slide a few times on quick flicks. apart from me doing silly stuff they have been good so far. like a cross between the PR2 and 3. PR2 i hated PR3 i loved.

Diablo. The profile is extremely round. Reading the other quotes, it seems to be a pirelli trait
