Sv650.org's What? can 2006
Hi people,
Seeing that Hien Gericke are doing 10months 0% finance on items over £199 I'm thinking of getting an end can. There are lots of posts, with lots of open and varied comments. But what I like are figures. What I'm looking for is a simple grade 0-5 (five being best). I'm looking at "road legal" cans (removable bafflers). Make: Just the manufacturer and material used (alloy/steel or Carbon) Grades for - Quality: E.g. I'd say the need to repack or send back bad quality, a 0. 50K all weather riding and no problems a 5 Priced: Value for money. A low score can also be a get what you paid. Noise: Wake the dead loud and throaty would be 5, Worse that standard would be 0. Install: Not all the parts (correct or faulty) would be bad, cut and slip on would be good. Overall: All considered. Any comments you want to add are welcome. Either reply to this thread and I collate as they arrive or PM me and I'll post all once I have a good number of replies. Many, many thanks, Neil |

Not wanting to rain on parades or anything but........
1) Their Website only lists one can - a Blue Flame one. 2) It costs £199.00 so doesnt come under the interest free banner Hope I am wrong tho, as seems like a sweet deal David |

I amcertain that HG do a wide range of cans despite what their website says
I have got a pair of Remus Revolution titanium cans on my SV1000. Quality: 5/5 - good workmanship, very thin and light. Have had them on for a couple of years or so and they still look like new when polished up Priced: 4/5 not the cheapest but still good VFM - I paid £420 for the pair Noise: 125/5 without the baffles in 60mm outlets (x2) means they are bloody loud - no idea what they are like with the baffles in as they have sat on a shelf since the day I bought the cans Install: Bolt on for me so 5/5 cut & slip on for the 650 Overall: Highly recommended They also spit flames on the over run, which is nice

Was at HG Reading Saturday gone.
They had displays for BLue Flame, Remus, Ak's and a other (can't remember). A real consideration and witht 0% I could get is pass the money controller in doors |
