YC2 Grand Candy Blue paint
As the title says, where could I get an aerosol spray can and touch up bottles from?

Re: YC2 Grand Candy Blue paint
I have just used that company, the paint is a good colour match. I bought an air brush on ebay for £7 and thinned the paint with celuslose thinners. Not a bad finish if I do say so myself!

Re: YC2 Grand Candy Blue paint
Thanks guys
I have looked in there, but as far as i'm aware the paint is a two pack paint. Basically there is a silver undercoat, before applying the blue on top. However the seller doesn't seem to stock the base paint or isn't required which baffles me. I seen another shop called RS Motorbike Paint, at http://www.motorbikepaint.co.uk/ Its also where the idea of the base coat came from, cos I can see that my fairing does have an under/base coat in silver as the paint isnt all rubbed away. Any one use them? |

Re: YC2 Grand Candy Blue paint
The aerosol spray of grand candy blue is really hard to match..as it requires a base coat silver, then top coat blue.... I've used the one from bike-paint- and like i said it's hard to get it to match with any existing panels on the bike...

Re: YC2 Grand Candy Blue paint
The genuine paint is actually a 3 coat system. Silver undercoat, blue translucent top coat and a clear top coat. The paint system the use give the bike that nice shiney silvery blue look or 'Candy' Paint as the colour suggests. When you buy a touch up pen, it roughly matches the paint but you dont get the silvery look. So its fine when you are touching up and not spraying a whole pannel.
