Steering stem
Rebuilding my yokes as i have put new bearings in but i need to know which way up does the lock ring go the thicker flange up or down its a 1999sv

The thinner part points down into the hole in the dust seal IIRC

I see it now on closer inspection that the lock ring can only go one way through the dust seal and tightening on the bearing. The other way would only have been tightening on the rubber seal.
