It's the flux capacitor, you must be struggling to achieve 88psi for it to activate

Why pay £90 for a whole new shower and end up throwing away what is a mostly serviceable unit when I could spend £13 to buy the replacement part, spend 15 minutes fitting it and have a working shower again. You wouldn't buy a new bike just because the reg/rec had expired!
