fenda extenda help please
hi org i'm fitting this extenda and im stuck bassically the instructions are crap with no diagram and i dont know where to drill the pilot holes if anyone's got a pic of their fenda extenda with the screws visible thatd be a massive help it's starting to wind me up now oh and it's a k6.

You can glue it in place if you want too, the screws will soon rust and look horrible.
The screws need to be about 1cm away from the end of the front fender, look at the lip on the fender extender and use that as a guide to how much room you have. Also space the screws out evenly. |

Anywhere you want really.
However many screws it comes with (3 or 4) space them out equally, but make sure you get one at either end (left and side and right hand side) Finally, make sure they don't foul the tyre.

so anywhere on the fenda as long as it's around 1cm in so two on the front and one either side sorry about this.

And if you're holding the fender extenda in place while you drill it......make sure you don't drill through one of your fingers

Use silicone sealant. Much easier and you don't have to drill holes into your nice painted expensive front fender.

done it all sorted i made the pilot holes and it was for me looking a bloody pro job i was surprised it didnt even threaten to crack at all then carefully put the self tappers in and the job looks a good un i marked the holes out with pen first then covered with a bit of masking tape and it was a peice of **** so today i fit my bellypan and extenda saturday its rear hugger and the best bit a nice fuel exhaust bring it on as always cheers to the org for the much needed help without which i may of hashed the crap outta my bike cheers.
