Default Idle speed?

I have a k6 650 here, started her today for the first time since I bought her (october) Leovince high level end can fitted, shes idling at 3300 which seems quite high, still the same at running temp 78c. Whats up? I'm supposed to be on track tomorrow! Noting else changed in the engine except sigma slipper clutch.

You racing it? A lot of racers like a high idle as it reduces engine braking.

If the display is reading a believable temp, ie it rises as the engine warms, I'd initially not suspect the idle control system, (basic idle control is dependant on the coolant temp, and that's read by the same sensor that operates the
display).
Allso 3300 rpm is very high, I rather the doubt FI system would go that far, so I'd first make sure of the basics; cables not sticking, linkage working smoothly etc.

Got it sorted, my 3 year old son (wee corey) had screwed the throttle adjuster at the throttle!

last year I got this horrendous rattle while warming my bike up at the track. Eventually found a 10mm ring spanner down the exhaust pipe! little sods.
