How much should fork straightening cost?

I have two sets of bent forks would do you guys reckon I should be paying for straightening them if they are loose from the bike.

Other thing is anyone know anyone in london who straightening them

Depends how bent.

I think there's a guy around here who does it for between £20-40. Or at least that's what I was told so don't hold me to it.

One set is badley bent but they dont appear to be creased.

As a matter of intrest how much are new forks legs only, I will give suzuki a call. Has anyone use pattern legs before and were they any good

was speaking to a bike mechanic yesterday about some discs and he said that since last year genuine suzuki parts have often been cheaper than pattern parts.
i priced up some pattern discs on the web, he rang suzuki and they were £20 cheaper each!

Yep. there is a reason Sv's are a low insurance group. not all pattern parts are cheaper and very often inferior too.

Straightening out forks? After seeing Sean C's forks I wouldn't even consider it.

Get them replaced mate, not repaired.
