hey folks
firstime poster for me on here i reacently passed my test and am looking to get my self an sv650 of some sort either the s version that my friend has which is very nice ans i like it quite a lot. i also like the sv650 street bike alot but the only thing that is putting me off is the big round single headlamp on the front which i find a bit boring and dull almost as if suzuki couldnt be bothered to design that part of the bike. are there any alternatives to the single lamp on the front that i could buy and change it and if so has any one done it and have any pics, im just trying to see what my options are really before buying one. if any one hase any pics could the please post a few up so i can see what different variations there are otherwise i think i might just buy the s version instead thanks for your time gavin |

Got to agree, as I have just become the owner of a K8 naked......
Nothing wrong with the "S" though. |

im not so keen on the curvys not my taste really but they are still a nice bike dont get me wrong.
the naked's are very nice too and if i did get one i would have to get a lower belly pan on it to disquise the exhaust as it looks a bit odd just sticking out. quite like this bike as it has the lower belly pan and a different headlight. ![]() any one have any pics of various different headlights as the only ones i have found so far are the small doubles. thanks again gavin |

Curvey (fast one) Nakeds rule heres mine!
Most aftermarket headlights are naff so beware! I had the twin dominators and couldnt see anything so changed to the stock which thankfully i got with the bike. I will probably put the dominators back on in the long summer days because it does cool (see avatar)! Last edited by jimmy-james; 22-12-08 at 05:07 AM. |

The best thing to do mate is test ride them both, you will find which one suits you best. As for changing the headlight, well that is pretty easy as you can fit one from virtually any bike with the correct brackets or even get one of the large variety of aftermarket accessories.
+ 1, and a yellow one too.... ![]() |

hopefully bbadger will post a picture of his black nekid as it has a sweet headlight.
i prefer the nakeds myself as it makes me feel a lot more involved in whats going on. also prefer the seating position and nice wide bars help you throw it around more. downside - you are also more involved with whatever the elements decide to throw at you... but as said ride them and see what you like. |
