Re: Caberg Trip
About 700 miles now, still noisy and draughty. Have taken to wearing the freebie caberg neck tube over top of my head to keep warm

Re: Caberg Trip
Ahhhhrg!!
I want my shoei NOW! Or in fact I want my V2 back. This lid manages to make your face freeze AND steam up at the same time, not amused.

Re: Caberg Trip
Bought a Trip recently from J&S for £79.99, did notice the wind noise so bought some ear plugs and its fine. As for misting, i always use a visor spray before going out in this weather and its not any worse than any of my other lids. For the money i`d say its fine.

My V2 was fine in my own version of crash testing

Re: Caberg Trip
i tried most helmets and for my budget of 170 (june/july) last year i paid 99 for the trip.
i opted for this due to the fact that the proliferal vision (excuse my spelling- 'helmet on, holding my hands up and moving them round to the front of my forard vision) was far greater then the other 20! or so i tried. within budget and comfort. as for an odd shaped 'ed, mine is odd! i am thinking of the V2R. this R i believe to be a modification of the V2 and have been told its mod is noticeable when it comes to the owld lugs! less noise. maybe someone can verify this, anyone gone from the trip to the V2 ? i am still happy with my trip's workings, visors regularly cleaned and no problems. all in all a good helmet. |
