Talking What's this part called?

hi guys,
On my 2000 curvy sv650 there is a metal bar running from the rear brake caliper forwards up to the swing arm.....What is it called as id like to replace mine for a less rusty one haha

You can get one from another bike that can fit, being in alloy you can polish it and it certainly looks good. Forgotten what bike its from, gsx or Srad?, I am sure someone on here will know.

I got the angle grinder on mine to get rid of the rust and then painted it with some hammerite. Looks good

Just get it powder coated, It'll be cheaper than buying a new one and it'll last longer.

It's hardly that visible so clean it and paint/powdercoat it as others have said if it bothers you.
