Re: Tottenham Riots
Hard to tell what sort of damage has been done seeing as the place looked like a riot site well before the last few days...

Re: Tottenham Riots
Just what we need when were skint
Don't know many details about the deceased but if he was shot cos of a firearm, then the plebs rioting can't really complain can they? |

Re: Tottenham Riots
Deja Vu
Must be 25 years since they last had a good riot there. My guess is there will be a lot more of this over the next few years as the economy hits the buffers. As for the current pretext for the trouble we will find out in due course what happened.

Re: Tottenham Riots
If they don't like the police thats one thing and I can live with that but to smash up and burn a supermarket a bus and a few other places thats silly. Shops that have nothing to do with the police. Just shows what mindless thugs and fools they all are hopefully they will be caught.
Hope any injuried officers have a speedy recoveray

Re: Tottenham Riots
Simply the mentality of a lot of the mindless idiots about the days really, just an excuse to burn stuff and loot...
I mean seriously the bloke who died was wanted by 'Operation Trident' and it looks like he has drawn his weapon and shot at police, who then took him down. Seems to me he got no more or less than was deserved! Tottenham rioters are just scum using the death of another scumbag to thieve and generally smash everything in sight - mindless idiot scumbags! |

Re: Tottenham Riots
Didn't take red-ken long to blame it on spending cuts.
Nothing at all to do with people using a bloke getting shot as an excuse to burn stuff. The footage of people blatantly looting JD sports the next morning was quite amusing. Wonder whether they'll get a knock on the door later? |
