The truth is, HSBC aren't a real bank. All the other banks got together and decided to create a joke bank, so that no matter how bad we are we can always say "Hey, look at the funny HSBC- look what they've done!" Can't get through on the phone? Look on the bright side, if you were with HSBC you'd be calling someone in kuala lumpur. Get charged £1500 in bank charges? Take them to court and they'll forget to turn up.
