unless Europe can get a high pressure over it and push it our way then we are going to get battered by the gulf stream for the rest of the summer. ok so yes we continually get the gulf stream hitting the west coast of the UK which is good as it keeps us warmer in the winter but the bad weather in America is travelling straight across the Atlantic to us.

My car. Failed its MoT on, wait for it, both front coilovers are apparently broken. Eh? It was driving and handling fine, its only six years old and under 50k miles. Yes I have to negotiate lots of speed bumps but I hardly blast over them. £500 to have them replaced, plus the service, MoT fee and replacement coolant botyle that I knew was broken - my poor wallet. On the bright side the three cylinder Fiesta loan car is a hoot to thrash about.

If it makes you feel any better I've got to pay £500 for one of my cats to have his teeth cleaned! Second time in 18 months.

Note to self - no sodding pets.
The kids cost enough on their own.

the AA trying to fleece me again this year. they promised a 2 year same price renewal and they have not delivered and just added another £20 to this years price.

so phoned my insurer Bikesure and got it for £53 with better cover such as 60 day Euro and home start included. AA wanted £122.25 without the Euro cover and home start.

i suppose the proof of the pudding will be if i break down.

Gave the cats their topical wormer tonight and they have both been drooling and are now looking very sleeping and a bit under the weather. Hope they'll be ok by the morning.

I had to go into the centre of Norwich today. What a nightmare. They have changed the one way system, there are roadworks with only one diversion sign and roads that I am used to using now blocked off. The city seems to want to ban vehicles by making it almost impossible to get around. The only saving grace was that I was on my bike. See my smile of the day post.

Woken up with wet nose kisses, face pats with claws out and shouty meowing in my face at 6am. Guess that means they are feeling better and I'm forgiven.
