I think its possible, indeed, i dont see why its impossible - just get the top yoke and the bars from a naked and get longer brake hoses / throttle cables etc so they arn't stressed.

The only problem will come from the handlebars fouling up against the fairing....

Blue Pete, Regency 23 and Double D have all done it using a kit I believe.

Do a search looking for threads started by BP or DD.

If you go ahead with you plan, then please do as the others above have done and replace the top yoke.

DON'T be tempted to cut costs & just add risers to the current item as it's not designed to be a stress bearing part of the bike.

Hello one and all. Just joined the forum specifically to ask about the handlebar mod.

I parked my curvy S next to a friend's 2000 Bandit 600 and the top yokes look like they might have the same centre-to-centre for the forks and stem offset. I know the 2000 Bandit has the same fork diameter. Has anybody used this top yoke on the SV?

Thanks

The general consensus of opinion is to get the top yoke from a Naked one or get a Kit from ABM or LSL . Haven`t heard of any other type of Yoke being used and I scanned the net for months . HTH .

I'm pretty sure Sarah SV650Racer said the offset of the forks on a naked was different to that of a faired model, at least it was for the pointy models, does anyone know for certain?

I think you need top Yoke and the bottom brace as well to make it work and they are like rocking horse pooh on eBay .
