Or on the way home. It was roasting hot and sunny a couple of years ago, 2006 i think it was, but i got soaked on the way in a storm and coming home ended up sheltering on a disused garage forecourt with a load of other bikes in an awesome storm (hail, thunder, lightning)

Re: Camping at MotoGP this weekend...
There goes my plan of sleeping during the morning practice. 5am start for me so I was planning on getting some kip down near craner curves. (I am not camping I hasten to add!) Guess the good thing about not having already bought my ticket is that if it is pouring down in the morning I can always stay at home. I don't mind riding in the rain...but I have my limits!!
I don't fancy riding down in the wet, it raining all day and then having to ride home in the wet. I would be a right state by the time I get home. I guess the good thing about not having bought my ticket yet is that I can always stay at home !! |
