Grabrail removal - how does the seat refit?
Okay, So I bought a seat cowel from ebay fits fine. I then wanted to see how it looked sans grabrail so whipped that off. Problem now is there is now nothing for the cowel to clip into. Am I missing something?

Re: Grabrail Removal
Cowels usually come with a bracket that bolts into the place of the grabrail and allows the back of the Cowel to slide under and then click into place at the front .

Re: Grabrail Removal
not all do, usually you have to buy infill's but they are something stupid like 40 quid, i didn't bother and just left it with holes.
you can make some, there is a guide on the main site of how to do it for curvys so could be done for pointys |

Re: Grabrail Removal
Yes, not on about the holes, not even sure what you mean by that. The grab rail actually includes the bracket which holds the seat or cowel in place.
According to the seller it was a genuine Suzuki one. I just emailed him to see what the crack is. Can anyone confirm that if you buy the genuine cowel from a Suzuki dealer the bracket is also included, cheers.

IIRC the slot for the seat or cowl remains in place when you remove the grab rail...
