Default Bikes & tight spaces

Has anyone any experience with this (or similar products):

Are they as good as they could be, worthwhile? Which ones are better? Thanks for any thoughts.

If you've got a side stand like me you don't need it.
Lift the bike onto the side stand and pivot it round, been doing it for years since I learnt it off an AA blokey and helps me no end

What about the ones you put the rear wheel onto to move it around (couple on the page lower down-though that's what I thought I'd linked to-sorry)?

Psychocannon, how do you do that ? I've seen it mentioned a few times, do you stand on the left side and pull the bike towards you so the wheels are off the ground ? Remember I'm a 9 stone weakling with a bad back !
