Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick). There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too. |

Good grief...it's another noobie....
...but this time its me.
You lucky, lucky bunch. Owned an old '92 NSR for nearly 2 years, but hardly rode it as its kept at my parents house (no garage at mine...yet). Passed my DAS first time with 4 days left on my CBT...ahem. Why do some of us leave it so long? Before I took any lessons I went through the list of bikes I wanted (based on looks alone in the first instance I might add - R6, GSX-R and ZX6) and ended up looking long and hard at the SV following one of many chats with my brother. So after passing my test on 12th July I waited a sensible amount of time before bike shopping. I waited until the 14th. Test ride on the 18th and picked up my bike on Aug 1st. Its a pointy blue one. I have used any and every excuse in the last 4 weeks to get out on two wheels. I have never looked at the sky so much and been utterly disheartened by big black clouds. So here I am...tell me everthing I need to know and I promise not to boil your pet in rice pudding and sell it on eBay as a piece of modern art. Honest. |

'ello
you've got 2 years to send off your test certificate to get your full licence, so don't wait until there are 4 days to go (like I did ) |

Just got my bike past its first 500 mile run in stage and opened the throttle. I nearly made a mess on the seat... Hope thats fast enough or I may be in trouble... My licence went as soon as I had all my other documentation sorted. Should be back in another week or so. |

Welcome matey, good to see another rocker/metaller here! You into much of the metal scene in Stoke? Do you know a short git called Dan who is in Imindain and is from Stoke? I went there to see Vomit Remnants and Godless truth a while ago.
Thats about all I know about Stoke I also have a blue pointy, welcome to the "fastest sv" club :P |
