Tank Bags for Laptops
Can anyone recommend a tank bag that will take a laptop, I have been using my back pack but feel very uneasy with it. I cant seem to find anything, other people must have to do this, so tell me what you use

Unless you have an excessively large laptop, most tankbags should have room for it and some padding between it and the tank.
Your best bet is probably to go to a few shops with your laptop and try it. Most places I go would be happy to let me offer the bag up to the bike as well. |

I'm trying to figure something out for this too, though I was thinking more along the lines of a tail pack? I figured I would take my laptop to a shop tomorrow and see what it fits in.
One thing that was mentioned to me was tank bags with magnets and laptop is a very bad combination. |

Yep tankbags, magnets and laptop is gonna be messy
I've got a little alpinestars rucksack that I carry my laptop around in, Its not water proof though so it gets wrapped in a bin liner on wet days.. I dont know if I would want to carry mine in a tailback...

A baglux tankbag would work well, though not a cheap option since you'd need to get a tank cover at the same time.
Bloody good kit, though. |

You can end up wiping HDs and inducing current in other components, all in all, not great. To be honest, it hadn't occurred to me, since I don't have a laptop and haven't used my magnet type tankbag since I stopped riding the gpz. |

Baglux tank bags are probably best. You have to by a leather tank cover, then the tank bag clips onto it. Rictus has one. They are expensive though |

Baglux tankbags are great kit, I've got the tank harnesses on both bikes.
I'm not sure where I heard it, but I remember something about Baglux making a specific laptop bag. Not cheap, but if it's available, then it's good stuff and meant for the job.
