Hi All,

Scoobs and I are heading to the AR (from the Portsmouth area) on Friday 6/8. We will be taking the route detailed below and invite you to join if this works for you - MORE THE MERRIER.

M4 Meet Point - HERE

Leigh Delamere Services just after J17 – Services are signed with their name (checkout streetview). Please be there at 11am for an 11:30 sharp departure.

M48 Meet Point - HERE

Severn View (Aust) Services @ J1. Please be there at 12pm ready to depart. This will be a quick stop.

From there we will be taking THIS route to Abergavenny

Abergavenny Meet Point - HERE

A quick pit stop to collect folk at Abergavenny Bus Station. Please be there ready for a 1pm departure.

If you plan to join, please add your name to the list and PM me for contact numbers.

The route we will be taking TO the M4 is HERE, post #19

The rough plan (circumstances may change this) is to meet nr Fareham > ridethrough Rownhams Services M27 (meet point for scummers). Then onto the M4 via Romsey > Stockbridge > Andover > Devices > Chipenham.

LOVIN the avatar Rich. Well done son

However, I won't be joining you as I'll already be at the campsite by then BUT as an alternative it might be good for you to meet at Aust services which is on the A48 (Old Severn Bridge) as people coming up the M5 and across from the M4 can all meet without going out of their way and then here is a nice route for you to get to the campsite

Wub you, have fub guys and see you there

+1, an excellent route even if Dan does say so himself...lol. Darn it...should have done the AR a little further south as the Chepstpw-Abergavenny road is amazing
