When does the new venture (bike tours) start operating?

First road tour is on the last w/e of this month. The new bike I'll be riding, a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is on it's way. Hotel in Llandudno is booked and as part of the job I get to stay there and eat a four course meal!
This sounds like a terrible ordeal!

Thought any more about the running Dave?

Exciting stuff! I was hoping you'd get an Enfield for some reason, hope it's a good'n. Do you get to familiarise yourself with (crash?) the bike ahead of the first tour?

I have. I need to find a few things first, my runners (moved house and misplaced them), time & motivation. Hoping to bake it into a morning routine if I can take that first leap.

Find a local trail running group Dave. It definitely helps get me out if I have arranged to meet for a run with someone else or a few of the other folk from my canicross group.

Not sure yet Martin. The orange one seems to be the most common colour.

Enfield have also supplied us with 3 Himalayans. Hoping to get a go on one of them soon too.

i looked at these a few years ago as they are as close to a proper classic as you can get. what put me off was the seat height at 805mm and power numbers.

The power numbers are fine for most of the roads we'll ride here Bibs. Lots of little back roads, B and C classification. These tours are about a bimble and sightseeing through some spectacular scenery, rather than being in a hurry to get anywhere.

a motorbike manufacturer should not be advising people to ride without protective gear...

apart from that i might nip over to Saltire at some point for a test ride.
