Default Saddle Bags

Hello,

I just purchased my SV650 and want to use it for commuting to work. Being a naked bike, it is not ready for commuting to work.
Where can i get Bags ? Saddle Bags, Tank Bag
Is there any company which makes saddle bags just for 2006 SV650

I am in Washington DC area

Beings how you are in the US, I would look at newenough.com

They carry several different brands, and usually have very competitive pricing. Be sure and check out the closeout page, there is usually luggage listed.

I have the Tourmaster Cortech set; tank, tail and saddlebags. It is first class stuff, fits well, stays on at speed, and will last your lifetime with reasonable care- through many bikes of many makes. Other makers also build very nice bags.

If you don't see anything that you like there, just google motorcycle luggage. That should keep you busy for a few weeks.

Try twisted throttle, not sure of the URL but they have a great range, and you can do the "what fits my bike" option

if u can find supplier for oxford first time stuff - this is more than adequate!
i too magnetic tank bag, sports side panniers & tail pack for 6 days worth to TT '07. all have rain covers, bungees and velcro straps for above & below rear seat. i got whole set for £70.00, about $130.00 usd.
will never need another set again...extremely well made.

A top box will do you better than saddlebags... tank bag is great too. I think most UK riders would recommend Oxford but they're not widely available in the states unfortunately.

I'll agree with northy here - topbox is really good, you can lock away everything safley, and they are wateproof (well, mine is)

Not sure about tankbags on a naked, what with the exposure to the windblast, but then i think its not too bad?
