Spring is here
At least it is up here on the gloriously sunny Isle of Skye (yes, really !!!!). Been on holiday the last few days and out on the bike as much as possible. I even volunteered to go to the Co-op just to get out in the sunshine.
Sunny, dry roads (remember them ?) and hardly any cars about too. It's soooo good to get home without there being an inch thick coating of salt, mud, etc to be rinsed off. And to think just 6 days ago I couldn't get to the Scottish Show because of 12 inches of snow. The only bad news is that I'm off to work in Glasgow at 6am on Monday - so I bet the weather changes at exactly 5.59am !!! Even if it does, I don't care - the A82 is a road everyone should try at some point. If you haven't done it yet, get the map out and plan a long weekend, you won't be disappointed. |

According to the weather forecast, it's going to be fine this weekend and then back down to freezing temperatures in the week

I'm going up to the cat and fiddle to see the memorial bench of a mate who was killed a year ago tomorrow. A suspension bolt came out and he came off and went into oncoming traffic
Just to put a downer on things eh.

yep its nice in the Midlands , just popped out for a 100 miles spin round the twisties , shock horror got the d220 fairly warm !
