Minitwin racing - North West UK
Hi all,
Just for information. The Wirral 100 club are starting up a new minitwins class this year in the North West. Anybody interested give me a shout. We race at Anglesey and Oulton Park. |

Re: Minitwin racing - North West UK
nah, not yet. The Wirral 100 gives me 7 rounds already. It's a bit of a balancing act keeping some time for my family and kids also.
They support me and attend all the races and so only fair for me to devote plenty of time to them also. This wll be my first year on minitwins too so I want to see how it goes first. I raced in F400 for the past 5 years, I think the speeds will be similar but the bike will be a little different with a torquey motor so just need to aclimatise. I have Anglesey, Oulton, Aintree, Three Sisters all within 1.5 hours but travelling for Bemsee would mean all over the country I think. |

Guys, A slight digress but I posted a question a little while ago related to setting fuel level before a race. Do you bother? or do you have a neat quick way of filling just enough for a race?

No, this will be my second season in Minitwins.. Guessing you lads are? You both gonna make the Friday practice then? Quote:
Yeah, I average about 5 Litres per race/session at most tracks. Brands Hatch Indy maybe only 3.5/4 Litres. After a race/session I always suck the fuel left in the tank using a syphon, this way you can get just about spot on. |
