Spannerman put self tappers in mine when I asked him to fit one for me.

Didn't like the idea of screws near my front tyre so I epoxied mine in place, taking care to key the surfaces first.

It's been there about 13 years now.

I think mine is by pyramid plastics. I took the mudguard off and gave the underside a good clean then stuck the extender on with clear silicon sealant. A couple of clothes pegs help. Leave overnight then finish off with some more silicon sealant to make a neat job. Don't like the idea of sharp screw ends near the front tyre and the sealant works well.

Yep, silicon sealant gives a nice finish and sticks like buggery. Because it flexes a bit, I found it better than epoxying it on, a previous job came off after a while with epoxy

Mines stuck on, no idea what one or with what. Apart from wiping off all the excess mess with white spirt left by the PO. I haven't touched it. 33,000 miles later.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to go for Pyramid but will use my own sticky to attach it.

They key is to abrade the contact area on both the front mudguard and the extender before applying your adhesive. Araldite worked ok for me. Then use a few G clamps (sides, and centre) to hold tight until properly cured.
