The NEC show is well worth a trip. I went a few years ago and the ranges on display as well as peripheral kit, studio and darkroom stuff... It was a cracking day out. Camera World had some good deals on the day if you were shopping too.

What made the day interesting that year was the ComiCon event in the next door hall. A load of look-at-me tyes in costume were surrounded by people with cameras, loving all the attention they were getting.

Wet miserable day so I'm keeping myself amused by baking a banana cake, except I have no bananas, I'm using a pulverised kiwi and mango chutney instead. It'll either be a triumph or a disaster

that could be interesting or a waste of good chutney! We (wife) are in the middle of making this years piccalilli.
I have had a stressful day - old car loaded onto a lowloader and away. Chose a replacement car and then went to the pub to de stress, (don't like sending money) it nearly worked, just need another session so off to the pub again tonight I think!

Had my flu jab today. Given up waiting on my GP practice, they don't seem to have any stock of vaccine. Took myself down to the local chemists.

Unlike last year, I wasn't offered a flu jab when I had the COVID jab.
