Given the practicality and durability of these stands, you won't find them secondhand all that much, once you've used one you just don't go back.

Check out Ebay.There's usually a couple of used ones on there.Abba stands are about £88 new and I picked up a nice used one for £40 with suitable pins for an SV.

And watch the postage price! They're heavy, so some Ebay sellers will take you to the cleaners with the p&p...

hmm - i think u guys must be right - not many second hand ones on ebay.

I just ordered a new one direct from the abba website - £95 inculding postage and the sv kit.

I hope they are as easy to use as everyone has told me they are. My mate dropped his brand new gixer the the other month - trying to put it on an paddock stand to oil the chain.
