North yorkshire... Had a meeting with an unmarked car today...

Bloody surprised me..
Volvo T6 light, 52 plate, blue/grey; no extra aerials, no extra mirrors, no noticeable signs/lights in the back window.

Over took him on the Helmsley road, took him awhile to catch up.

The first I saw of him after overtaking was him charging along behind me at about 60+ in a 30.

Got 3 points as a lovely Christmas present..
Thinking about it, there was probably 9 points worth of things he could done me for, so that was lucky I suppose.

Going to have to calm down me thinks.

Even the ride thats got me done was really good, haven't been out for proper riding in a few months.

Take it he didn't clock you at 60+ in the 30, thought double the limit was auto ban / dangerous driving charge

Nah, too much paperwork! Why beat him with a huge stick? He's learned his lesson, ie pay more attention to cars and his mirrors!

I don't speed in 30s, I meant I was just dawdling though it.. And the copper came flying up behind me.

anyone who lives in the ilkley area of west yorkshire?? just incase there is a silver vauxhall astra, think it is 52 plate, pulled over a chavvy boy racer burning through ilkley,

I thought I'd been busted by a t6, but when I slowed down he went past and he had parcel shelf covered in dolls and tedy bears.
