PS. I also managed to lock up my wheels yesterday: was undertaking
a car near Regent's Park, didn't pay attention to the fact that the
road surface was very bumpy, not good when hit the brakes. But got
away with it.

aww thanks you guys for the messages and all your virtual hugs. Bruises are coming thru nicely now and the lovely Soulkiss man has lent me a mirror and some bar ends so the bike is erm almost back to normal lol.
